JINGLE JAM 2026 CHARITY PARTNER CRITERIA
Introduction
Jingle Jam harnesses the power of gaming and content creation to make the world a better place for children and young people. It’s a massive, two-week online festival with over 1000 creators taking part simultaneously: through livestreams, videos and other events and campaigns. Last year’s event raised over over £3.5m for eight charity partners.
Jingle Jam is for charities with an existing, significant gaming and/or livestream-focused fundraising function. We please ask that you do not apply if this does not apply to your charity. Please see below for further details.
Jingle Jam 2026 Selection Process
We’ve changed our process slightly this year to make it more transparent and fairer for everyone.
Jingle Jam has always featured a mix of first-time and established charity partners. We’ve always aimed for each Jingle Jam to include some new charities we haven’t supported before alongside several recurring participants who know how to really make the most of Jingle Jam.
2026 will be no different, but we realised it would benefit everyone if we determined which 2025 participants will definitely return before we opened the first stage of the application process, our Expression of Interest (EOI). So we’re pleased to announce that Become, Make-A-Wish and WWF have been confirmed as Jingle Jam 2026 charity partners, alongside our strategic partners CALM and War Child.
Jingle Jam 2026 will have eight charity partners, leaving three places open for applicants.
The Expression of Interest application (EOI) for Jingle Jam 2026 opens at 11am on Monday, 2nd March and closes at 5pm on Thursday, 19th March. Applications received after that point will not be considered.
Applications will be reviewed in the week of 23rd March, and successful applicants will be invited to take part in the second stage of our process.
2026 Focus Areas
Improving the mental and physical health of young people.
Inclusion of neurodivergent, disabled, LGBTQ+ and diverse young people.
Support for young people affected by global events including poverty, disasters, epidemics or conflicts.
Safeguarding the future of the planet for young people, by combating climate change and protecting animal welfare.
Jingle Jam selects charity partners that are making an impact in one or more of our four Focus Areas, each of which is tested through our worldwide community of donors as being critical to making the world better for children and young people.
For 2026, our Jingle Jam Focus Areas are:
Some of these areas are covered by the five charities named above. We’re particularly interested to hear from organisations working in areas not yet covered, specifically inclusion of neurodivergent, disabled, and LGBTQ+ and diverse young people and improving the physical health of young people, but we will still consider applications from all four areas.
Requirements for Jingle Jam Charity Partners
Jingle Jam charity partners are organisations that have already established an income stream in the gaming/livestream/content creation space and are now ready to partner with one of the biggest online fundraising events in the world to further grow that income. You’ll need to work right through the year, engaging content creators and building events for Jingle Jam to raise funds for your cause beneath the Jingle Jam umbrella.
We’ll work with each 2026 charity partner on a joint plan that aims to raise you £500k. We’ll raise the first £250k, and you’ll double this by engaging content creators, match funders and brands to create unique Jingle Jam events and campaigns for your cause.
We expect any first-time partners to demonstrate plans, capacity and leads to guarantee at least £50k of funding into Jingle Jam, either via a key match donor and/or a confirmed event or creator proven to raise that level of funding.
We will also expect to work day-to-day with a member of your team who has significant experience with Twitch and Tiltify, and with your communications function, to collaborate on regular social media activations.
In our experience, smaller organisations find it difficult to provide the resource levels required to make the most out of managing a Jingle Jam campaign, so we are setting a minimum turnover requirement for charity partners of £1m per annum.
Jingle Jam supporters are a global community with around one-third of our 70,000 donors based in the UK, a third in the US, and the rest across over 100 countries total. As a result, we need to partner with organisations that will resonate with a global audience and deliver impact worldwide.
